How to Overcome Gambling Addiction?

cards-1030852_1280

I had a addiction towards gambling and used to gamble a lot. Because of which I  suffered a great loss, even my house was sold. I was so upset as my family left me all alone seeing my condition. I thought of leaving gambling, but it was too late by the time and I became addicted to it.

I had lost almost everything and wasn’t left with any option then to commit suicide.

Seeing my condition, one of my friend helped me and suggested me to go for a hypnotherapy course to overcome my addiction towards gambling.

Before opting for the course, I researched and read about it as I wasn’t sure if this would help. I read that hypnosis uses 3 techniques to overcome gambling addiction. The techniques were so powerful that blown my mind and I opted to pursue the training course.

If you are looking for a permanent solution to overcome your gambling addiction like me, without adding more I would suggest you opt for hypnosis in dealing with this problem.

What Does People New To Self-improvement Struggle To Do First?

Since the time I thought that I need to work on myself, I came up with a fewer things that can be improved. That was’nt easy at all!

Self-improvement sometimes become terrifying, especially if you’re trying to change several things at a time and you’re not sure from where to start with.

The best thing is to first create a wish list. This is a great way, I applied the same process and created a list of the things I want to do or achieve in my life.

It becomes easy for you to work on, if  you know what you want to achieve.

Secondly, create a life bio!

I started writing a story of my life from my earliest memory. It took me some time but when I started writing, it allows my stream of consciousness flow as I wrote.

If you get a list of the areas where improvement is required, you can either pick one at a time or can ask your unconscious mind which one need improvement first.

The same process I followed when I had the struggle in what to improve first.

Mind Bending Language: Reframes, Language Patterns & Pacing Emotions

In this video one of Igor’s seminar attendees notices a pattern in Igor’s hypnotic methods when he was working with a subject.

He says

“Before making the reframe you paced the emotion. You matched the emotion.”

Igor confirms that’s correct. He also says that this can be called pacing, but Igor calls it validating the emotion.

When Igor works with a subject, he explains how important it is to validate your hypnotic subject’s emotion. It’s important to let them know it’s OK to have that emotion.

Very likely the emotion they’ve expressed to you has been rejected by themselves and other people. They have been told over and over again that it’s “bad” or irrelevant.

It’s only by getting past the judgement that it’s ok to feel that way, that acceptance can occur. Which allows the doors to open.

Simultaneously, you’re also proving you as the therapist won’t judge them or their emotion.

That emotion your subject is having is serving some sort of purpose.

So Igor recommends to take the side of your subject’s resistance when they try to discount this feeling.
